Campus Klarenthal is a Progressive Educational
project for all children and young people from
preschool through high school. It is modelled on
Christian and Progressive Educational traditions.
We offer every qualified degree provided by the
German educational system.
We know that every child is different and see this
diversity as a rich opportunity to help children
develop according to their unique potential. We
practice a philosophy of inclusion that also
welcomes religious and cultural diversity. Openess
to the world is one of our core values.
Our school is wonderfully close to nature, and is
situated at the edge of the woods. We strive to
offer a school “home” as well as a school community:
trustful and value-based, constructive and
In upper secondary education we are looking for the balance of comprehensive expertise and the open spaces of project oriented work, the deepening of individual comprehension and the collaboration on joint products. Our teachers provide competent instruction to transfer acquired expertise to everyday experiences and actions. We integrate artistic treatments of subjects into school life.
Students in modern lessons do not only learn from teachers but also from each other. And digital platforms are available to re-read important topics, to pick up and hand in assignments, to share results. Just like it is done at university or at the modern workplace.
From the introductory phase through the completion of the qualifying stage, tutorials are consistent companions for our students. They allow them to reflect on work processes in order to change or strengthen them, to set individual priorities and align test requirements, desired objectives and ways of working.
The tutorial is also a forum to agree on milestones for project planning and to discuss the requirements of coursework.
Our generously proportioned, spacious campus and its unique location embedded in nature offer our students an exceptional amount of space. Enhanced by a well-resolved spatial concept that facilitates personal workspaces as well as online working environments, Campus Klarenthal is not only a stimulating place of learning but also a good place to live.
We closely cooperate with the Oranienschule to maintain and control the substantive dimension of our work. Part of this cooperation are periodic revision courses and joint comparative tests.
